The boards and pieces are made of
Ash, Cherry, Maple and Walnut.
The dividing lines and borders of the board
are inlaid in contrasting dark wood.
This is the 9-squares version of the game.
The playing pieces are turned on a lathe.
All the wood is colored, stained
and finished by hand.
The boards measure 8 to 10 inches to a side;
the pieces range from 1 inch to 2 1/2 inches in height. Set includes playing rules.
These TAFL boards are now available by mail order from Marklander.
You can order the woods you like: light ash, maple or cherry for the board and light pieces;
walnut or cherry for the dark wood.
